Hi, im thinking of getting a new BB pearl.this is my first time getting an phone with all these fuctions and stuff..my question is that what service plan and add-on do i need for..msn messager/AIM/Gmail/Internet/ and i will be using T-mobile.

BIS w/ Unlimited. You'll also need to add a plan for your text messages/MMS (unless less you get the plan with it included)

The BIS will do you fine, and just like red.octane.aero said, a text plan if you plan to text message.

BlackBerry Enterprise Email is mainly for large corporations that run their own BB email server, and for spook services (that is, web browsing monitoring, and email content filtering/monitoring). Assuming you're using it for personal usage, just get the regular BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS).

If you do a lot of web browsing/emailing, get the unlimited plan - you'll thank yourself later. With Rogers, my service provider, I used to pay $25 a month for a 0.5 MB plan - and $27 for any addition meg after that. Yes, $27 per additional meg. PINing and BlackBerry Messenger work on the Peer-to-Peer, so your data is going to be much less substantial then regular email or web browsing.
