Blackjack--Modem on EDGE?

I live in an EDGE only area. Will the blackjack work as a modem while on hte EDGE network or does it have to be in 3G? Thanks in advance.

Yes... If 3G is not available, it will drop down to EDGE. Not as fast of course, but it works well.
