k800i bluetooth remote control problems

Hi, I've just got a k800i, which I'm very happy with, but I'm finding that the bluetooth remote control function is quite intermittent. Any ideas?
I've not had any trouble with my pc's bluetooth signal before, and i still get the problem if i hold the phone right next to the bluetooth receiver.
