Samsung Themes question on the Blackjack

I've been reading up on themes to see if I can do some editing of the ones that ship standard on the Blackjack.

I really like the "Samsung Calendar" theme but I hate the white/orange/gray color scheme and want to change it.

I understand that themes are .hme files but I can't find any of these when browsing the phone.

Is there a way to customize the colors for the different menu components or is there a location on the phone with all the themes in .hme format so that I can use an editor to modify them?

when you find the answer to this, could you please explain to me how to edit themes in general, can not find that info anywhere
