Most people are using fit4cat TyTn tweaker for TyTn/Hermes/8525-specific tweaks.

Anything else? Not software wise but something dealing with the registry itself to improve other things?

Go to xda-developers if you want the details.

Haven't done it yet but I recall there was one I usedon my Ipaq to "trick" sites into thinking you were using a different browser. So far I haven't been able to check my bank balances. I think I need that tweak to bypass security and see the account balances. Tweaks2k2 had that hack.

So far, the reg edits I've made are to turn off that beeping noise when adjusting the volume, remove the bottom tray, and to show the band selection so I can choose Umts only. I plan on trying the one to access Wells Fargo next.
I found all these regedits over at xda. I think most are in the wiki.

Most of the same ones from the Wizard will work just fine on the Hermes. In addition to Fit4Cat, pick up Tweaks2k2.NET, and tweak to your heart's content!

I also like the x button. I know a lot of good programs have the feature, but some are bloated or clutter my screen and I prefer to conserve the RAM and screen space.

what about a back button? to me it seems this phone needs it

Posted by: nutnbolt

Isn't the back button the one above the PTT button?

I'm considering downloading the fit4cat registry tweaker, but the prime reason would be to enable stereo on the bluetooth connection -- IF cingular hasn't already done it. Does anyone know for a fact that ALL of the issues addressed in the fit4cat tweaker apply to the Cingular ROM?

Thanks,
Mike

Quick question;

Was functionality for the keyboard to light up when slid out put into the HERMES?
