Does HTC Provide Firmware Updates on Their Web Site?

I have an 8525. Whenever firmware updates are available, does HTC post them for download on their web site?

Thanks.

There has yet to be a single posted firmware update on the HTC website (something many of us are waiting for).

And with an 8525, you should be looking to Cingular's support site for firmware updates if/when they are available...

Does anyone know if the "HTC X-Button" fix is in the rom update from HTC? IIRC it's not already installed on the device, but there is a.cab file for it somewhere. I only read about it on a site, but i cannot find the actual app listed. And I was wondering since it's from HTC, if it would be included in the CD or the site.

Thanx!

serkle,

What are you talking about? What is an "X-button" fix?

I heard about this before and then i found this most recently because it wasn't functional on the 8525 when it was said to be...

here's the link...

aside from magicbutton, anyone know where I could find this and try it out?

I've been using InClose Mobile on my TyTN, but with the new 1.35 ROM version I've had some problems.

Wirelessly posted (HTC-8500/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

anyone else know of or using the "X-button" fix? If so where did you find it?
