Okay so opus is shut down in our area.... so im screwing around at work... how is "black friday" working out for you guys?

biggest shopping day of the year, huh? its up and down here... mostly down since opus died about half an hour ago...

Opus was slow for my store today, but when i left we were close to 90 opps. I did over 20 my self.

OPUS sucks!!! It was super slow and it kicked me out of 2 upgrades. i completed an upgrade on a customer from GA and 2 hours later the guy returned and network issues and i checked the account and surprisely its as if the upgrade never took place. he stilled showed a 3125 on his account instead of the RAZR and his account also showed no commit/contract expired instead of 2 yr. i had to re=upgrade the dude.

i start to think they do it on purpose, youd think they would plan ahead specially with all the BOGO promos.... but no it happens over and over, and telegence still works. why on earth do we use opus when theyve seen it will crash always!!!

telegence worked fine.. selling items in opus sucked though.

Ya opus sucked the baloney pony here too ; would be nice if they were not so cheap on servers. Same problem every year.

i hate opus it goes down like every other day at my location. OPUS is **** compared to telegence i dont understand why we dont use telegence flat out its not when we were AT&T Wireless reps siebel was a front to whats really going on. wiht AT&T we had the same access everyone else did and we just chose to be lazy and have the customer call care.

lol. that sucks. We were unable to ring anything out yesterday, too. We had to call in activations and when it came to ringing up sales, we broke out the good old-fashioned knuckle-buster. Needless to say, that didn't impress many new customers.

I grabbed my manager's POS II codes and rang everything out with paper contracts. Worked great for 10 adds and 9 opps in a slow store.

i must work in the slowest store in Cingular our store has about a 100 ops for the month. I did 4 ops on black friday and our store did 5 total. we handed out hundreds of flyers and told people almost any phone would be free but sat around and did mostly nothing

We couldn't even look up accounts, no credit card transactions...i did 6 ops, which was amazing, good features too, but by the end of the day I was turning people away.....Couldn't do anything
