Can I search the phone book on 703SHf?

Rather than scroll through all the names in my phone book to the number I want, is there anyway I can do a search? IE, if I enter F, followed by R, it'll go to the top of the names starting with F, then to the top of names starting with FR.

Is there a trick to this or is it just not possible?

just edit your entry on the area that says "reading" put in either the first or last name of the person (or which ever you prefer) that way if you type it in the search bar the contact you'll want will come up.. sorry if i'm not the greatest at explaining.. =S hope that helps

Thanks xplicitpin0i. I was just fiddling with it and I did have the names in the order I wanted under the "reading" section. But what's been screwing me up is that I didn't realize the search is also based on whether the alphabet is upper or lower case. I have all my names in the "reading" section with the first letter as upper and the rest as lower. So when I was doing the search, since the alphabets I was entering into the search are all lower case, that's why it wasn't jumping to the names I wanted.

So if anyone doesn't know...keep all the alphabets under the "reading" as lower.
