Messaging with 903 Jap Firmware

I've got a 903 with Euro 1.046 so I used the 8+POWER method to switch over to Jap just to see if I'll like it.

It seems awfully hard to write a message due to the fact that when I set a character to upper case by pressing the "Shortcut" key. And then I have to press right, shortcut to go to the next character with lower case. Its very similar to typing on a computer in overwrite mode instead of insert. In order to insert a space, I have to press right twice.

Is there an easier way or thats how it has to be?

Thanks!

that's how it is. it isnt even that bad. type letters with 1 hand and keep ur other thumb on the right button. it gets pretty quick. this method also allows typing of words like "mom" or "fedex" really quickly.

After using the jap firmware for a few days, I'm getting the hang of it

Another minor thing is, how do I insert a space in the middle of a message? Is there an easier way besides pressing # and then selecting space?

Thanks.
