MobiTv "not supported" on Blackjack!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

After trying to get Mobitv to work on my Blackjack for two days.. Mobitv support said that they don't currently support it because of something Cingular did to the streaming software on Blackjack - likely to protect Cingular Video and their subscription services. But Cingular Video is no larger than a postage stamp on the Blackjack (even at "full screen").
Sling box appears to be the only current way to have true "full screen" tv/video on the Blackjack.
Anyone else know of another solution?

I tried (and paid for) MobiTV, and found to be completely useless. Picked up a Slingbox Pro, and am completely satisfied with my purchase (although 320x240 isn't yet supported on the Blackjack).

AFAIK, Slingbox is your only-and best-option.

Slingbox is currently working on the issue with Blackjack, but the temporary version still works. I am just waiting for that email for being a beta tester for the newest sling software for SP.

I'm just reading up on mobitv after seeing this post, I'm a slingbox user..I can't see any reason in wanting it unless you didnt have high speed net at home.,.9.99 a month and a weak channel line up vs 130 bucks one time and all channels you have at home.

Someone had a post with a long video the other day that showed the Blackjack with "full screen" using Slingbox. I have HD Directivos and would have to use the $$ Slingbox Pro and keep it connected over WiFi ($$ more, etc.), Running a cable is not an option for Net access.

So, I'm looking for a good streaming service- or a way to enlarge the video display size on Cingular Video.

Does TCPMP play "full screen" on video saved to the Micro SD? Anyone it try yet?
