3.2 MP vs 2.0 MP
MP3 vs Walkman
Quad band vs Tri band

i narrowed it to 2 options, N73 or the 850i. N73 is pretty good in the camera area, as for the mp3 its okay... but then i like the slider on the 850i. im kind of a camera person but the the N73 is way far from my budget of $500... which one should i get? any ideas? im not too worryed about the mp3, the camera is my main ideal thing.

Well since the N73 is out of your budget and the w850 doesn't have autofocus how about the K790/k800?

N73 isnt out of budget here.
N73's advantage being smartphone as well!!
both are enticing phones. but honestly W850i has just one advantage over N73. the music playback quality. otherwise it doesnt stand a chance in front of N73 IMO. but thats my choice.

i live in canada, it costs alot for me... but it depends where i buy it..

edit... i might buy the SE 850i.. i read reviews that its soo slow... when changing programs and such..

^^where in canada do you live? I might have one for sale if you're in the right location. The N73> SE 850i. I've never really liked SE phones for some reason..maybe because they always seem to be SO GOD DAMN BUGGY!!!!. But otherwise, I respect them for the mp3 capabilities as well as camera in certain cases.

i live in toronto, ontario... im still deciding which to get, im leaning more to the W850i, but the W850i dont have auto focus >_<, the 3.2 MP camera is temping to get ahah

Go for N73 for sure...W850 is overpriced for its features...

we have the K800i though, but my friend has it and i dont wanna copy him ahah =p. but yeah, i used a se before didnt like it... im more fond of nokia phones better. but i have to research a bit more on the N series phones

hey if u can get N73...get it. but its not the best cam u know. K800i passes it (marginally perhaps...arguable). but most would consider it cuz of it being a symbian phone as well, primarily. so if ur not into that, smartphones etc.. it may not b a great idea. and u have a W810i already. wel... hmmmm, im kinda confused now

yeah . I think the 850i is a step backwards from the 810i (oddly enough) as it drops the autofocus keeps the same OS, and cuts your memory size option in half.

yeah i do have a W810i, but its not mine =p, i took off a friend to use it for a coupple of days to see what is it like and such... i noticed that i dislike SE interfaces.. its soo.. blehhh... now im figuring which one i buy the N73 or the N80. lol

If camera is your main ideal thing, I would suggest the n73.

not worth it. Get a normal n73, update the firmware to Music Edition and I am sure the black casings will become available shortly.

that should be under $500 total

but make sure that u wont loose ur warranty if u flash it with ME firmware.
just check it out ? ask around... the seller. the service center. ur network. cuz if u do loose warranty and (god forbid) some fault occurs in ur handset..ur stuck. u gotta pay for repairs thereafter.
but i dont see any use of flashing it to ME f/w.

yeah i was thinking about it, theres no reason that i should flash it... the ME verson is just the same as the N73... >_>
