Hi there

I am a current user of Nokia 6230 unlocked phone and using Rogers now. I would like to look for a brand new GSM phone with the price range of $ 300-400 but I have some preferences:

Prefer a bar phone or slided phone (Quad Band)

Prefer the phone to support mp3 ring tone, polyphonic ring tones

Support Memory upgrade

Support Bluetooth, USB 1.1 or 2.0

Don't care about the size of the Megapixel Camera

Any idea which phone should I buy ?

Please kindly advise.

there can b quite a few suggestions but u've asked for QuadBand.. is it a requirement ? or u just asking for the sake of it ? Rogers ...canada right ? does it have to b quadband cuz 6230 isnt quadband u know.

thanks for your advice and quad band is not major concern but clear reception is my major draw.

Do you think SE K610i is a decent phone which can satisfy my needs ?

good reception would not depend on the phone being a QuadBand or a TriBand.
yes, if u like K610i and it's features...not too fancy in terms of specifications.. its alright. K750i, W810i, are good ones as well. better than K610i.
do u have any particular requirement ? or are these just about it ?

if you can buy SE K790a in Canada, go for it
if not, get W810i or nokia E50
stay away from samsung, except Trace unlocked
