I have just had a UK Orange P990i unlocked by Orange themselves. If I try and update the firmware using the SEUS website (if it will allow me) will the phone be relocked to Orange on completion?
I have read somewhere that it will but someone on another website said it wouldn't. Bit of difference!! lol

SEUS shouldn't relock your phone, however the code that Orange gave you to get the phone unlocked will work again.

Thanks. Another quick question. Can I get rid of my horrid Orange branding by reflashing or will it put the latest Orange one on? I probably have the latest anyway as it is only a month old! Should have bought a generic one.....

Yes, you should have

A 'branded' Operator Network phone will always get that Operators CDI Firmware flashed. SO if you have now branding, you will have it afterwards!

Boo hiss - not the answer I wanted but thanks anyway! Orange branding is awful, as most people will tell you.
