8525 charge while tethered over USB?

I posted this to another forum but got no response - can anyone tell me if the 8525 has the same issue with the BJ of not being able to be tethered over USB (for use as a modem) and not being able to charge?

sometimes you need to change this in the registry inorder for it to work. 99% of the time, it's already set to "on" but you never know. try that and see if it fixes your problem.

I have got the tethering to work under the wireless modem settings, and it charges too, so not sure why your's does not. Sorry.
