I know that this will not allow you to use your current fax machine number but it will allow you to send and receive faxes.

Unfortunately, if you use a GSM Treo, then you will have a problem in receiving (not sending) faxes. Apparently there is some issue with the fax protocol that no fax program writer has been able to figure out. CFax was one of the better fax programs to use however, and they do have a user forum in which you can ask some more questions more specific to how you want to use it.

My office faxes come in on the Exchange Server. Then they get emailed to me as a TIF attachment. I get the email on my Treo 650. Using the ever-fabulous Acid-Image Pro I am able to open, view, and read the faxes. http://www.acid-image.com/aipro.html
