sprint V3M seem issue....

Just got the sprint v3m trying to crack it, im new too this but i learn easy^_^ i followed the idiots guide to seem editing the v3m, flash the phone restart it and the changes dont take place. But when i use the p2k editor and pull the seem file from the phone it shows the changes as being there......stuck on stupid ya know?

oh, and having a bit of trouble transfering files from my buddies t-mobile via blue tooth it connects but errors on the transfer.

What got me into all this is the lack of options to edit hte menu's i dont like "theme" if you will. and ive never owned a phone where you cant at least change the colors. Irritating. If you can help thats great...link me whatever. This was one of the only forumns i could find that even mention the sprint v3m. not very heard of.

edit::: I tried to go back in and do some more editing/restore the default yada yada and seem editor just crashes even tho it says connected. So I uninstalled all the drivers from my system thinking it might be that. And the initial install goes well unstill i use the MSU and it just crashes..... Still havnt noticed any errors in the phone itself though. Ive been looking and im just burnt I know there has to be a program to flash it back or should I just use the lil reboot button

Well not hits yet......... Also heres another one MSU only works with win2k SP4 and winXP SP2...My system doesnt have 2 installed and cant handle it because of some other things ^_^ anyways is there any other work arounds?

oh and the post above was refering to my work PC thats why i got as far as i did

WHy can't you use SP2? Better get used to its features and security. Vista is less than 2 months away now.

i got a new phone it generated issues all on its own luck? chance? whatever

my system is modded a bit if you will. and when i use SP2 it runs slow as hell on everything. might be a mobo issue(dfi lanparty nf3) or maybe its because ive modded out the UI files plus added the vista UI ontop of that. Vista wont be a problem, it was more of an indexing issue or something. anything system related took forever to open and explore became unbearable. problem disappeared when i removed SP2 so i tried another install thinking it was a bad install and same issue arose. sometimes you cant argue with custom PC's their like woman :P my system runs the vista beta's fine tho but i will probably keep xp untill i build my next comp in the spring.

on the other hand my new razr i havnt tried seem editing yet probably will when im at work. i guess ill read some more forumns. and if i mess up ill get another ^_^

got my msl number as well for those of you who couldnt get it.....dont act like all you want is the msl all i did was tell them its not working we tried like 3 things then finally he gave me what i want. patience is a virtue.

If you want your MSL, there is a really good post on this bb, http://www.hacktherazr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1566 No need to contact your service provider. Write it down, preferably on the inside of your battery cover. That way, if you have a sprint or verizon razr, you can also re-enable, or disable EVDO coverage at your discrection. You need MSU running, and P2Kseem working to get it. Hope this helps someone. Peace...
