SANYO SCP-7300 *Removing Faceplate"

I purchased some 'aftermarket' faceplates for my wife's Sanyo SCP-7300. It doesn't appear that the faceplate comes off. I'm afraid to pry any harder than I have.
Is there a 'trick' or a 'secret' to getting the faceplate off??

lol i suggest u dont replace it. The phone is too messy to deal with. I tried and ended up failing big time.
