8525 and insurance

Well i had the 8525 for a brief period, but sadly over the travel holiday some baggage of mine was lost, and my 8525 and ALL accessories are now gone. I checked my account on cingular.com and see that though I have a PDA, I still am paying for wireless phone insurance. I realize that the 8525 is not to be insurable, but I have been reading about LockLine honoring this one time then removing the feature until you purchase an insurable phone in the future. You think they will honor this for me and replace my 8525?

maybe if you complain long enough to customer service about why they are making you pay for insurance this whole time knowing that you have the 8525...worth a try....

Agreed. You will probably be covered as an exception but ultimately it is Asurion (aka Lockline) who make the ultimate decision and not customer service.

Maybe this is a dumb question -- but why won't the airline cover your loss? They lost your bag, right?

It could take months before my claim is approved and I receive any sort of money. I need my PDA like tomorrow.

Does anyone have the direct 800 number to lockline to avoid having to call CS?
