(8525) Krusell Horizontic Review

Here we go.

First and foremost, this is a stunningly well crafted case made by Krusell. This specific model is the Horizontic PDA. Be very careful when you purchase your Krusell case because many cases look very similar and have many different variations. The pictures online can be deceiving but different online stores carry specific sizes. Call first if you are unsure.

The quality of this case is very superior and you can see and feel it. The craftmanship is worth the buy alone. The little silver emblem of Krusell places the cherry on top signifying quality.

This specific case has an extra compartment that can house credit cards and memory cards. Well, more specifically memory cards but I have used it to store maybe one credit card or so if I didn't want to carry my wallet. Very convenient.

I will warn you, when you first get this case, it will be a very tight fit. It can discourage you because the case will barely close without giving little elbow grease. After some time of opening and forcing it to close, it gets easier and easier as the leather wears in. This should be expected when buying leather in general. I can now close the case, one handed, as opposed to muscle'ng it with both hands to close.

As far as the interior where the 8525 will go in, it is a smooth velvety lining. From beginning to end, there is no leather overlap which can possibly scratch your 8525.

In addition, there is reinforcement between the leather, making the case solid and not flimsy. This goes for the flap as well which has a contour curve. I like this because it provide further protection.

As far as the clip goes, it's very durable. I can't say much about it other than the fact that it's a multi-adapter system. In other words, you can buy different adapters to connect to the case. Me, personally, I bought the vortex clip (clip that can lock in different positions i.e. vertical, 45 degrees, horizontal) and the strap clip which I can use to strap onto my bag. It comes standard with a clip that is form fitting so it hugs tightly to your body.

Another warning, due to the case's form factor, this does stick out of your body very much. Unlike other horizontal case I have encountered. I look like someone who has something growing out of my side.

Above all, this case was a good buy and priced decently.

PROS:
- Great professional look.
- Great craftmanship and leather quality.
- Extra compartments for memory storage.
- Secure, snug fit for your 8525.
- Ability to have multiple adapters that is interchangeable.

CONS:
- When clipped to your side, it has a "bulging" affect.

Isn't that a pain to take in and out?

I guess I should have shown how you can take out the 8525. Sliding it into the case is easy. Taking it out is as easy. There is a small hole at the bottom of the case which you can push the 8525 up giving you the ability to grab the 8525. Some horizontal case dont' have this and it makes it hard to maneuver the 8525.

Above all, it is not hard.

Can you link to the exact case you got? I am having a hard time finding it on the Krusell website.

They make the best cases that money can buy . Thanks for the review

Surprisingly, this is one company I have encountered that are very competitive in pricing with the highest quality standards. They don't put a price tag to their name and quality.

This is the exact case I'm looking for. But I'm getting confused on sizing. What is the sizing for? Isn't the phone all the same sizes? On their website it doesn't explain about the sizing, nor do the vendors. Thanks for the help.
