Want a Blackjack, but why is Internet twice as much as 3125?

I was looking at cingular.com and Wirefly and whatnot, and noticed that on the 3125 I can order it with an unlimited data plan at $20.

For the Blackjack, the unlimited data plan is $40.

What the heck?

As it is it's going to cost me more per month to switch from my AT&T account to a Cingular one for a new smartphone, but serioulsy, $40 a month is way too much for internet on a 3 inch screen.

What's the way around this, or is there one?

I have a blackjack and was showing it off to a friend at work who was waiting for it to come out and we talked about the different data plans. He actually went into a Cingular store after looking at it online, where I guess you also have to pick the expensive data plan. The store told him he can get any data plan he wants and they also knocked the rebate off the price and sold it to him for $199. Maybe try a store or some other online retailers.
