Ok, so I've got the Unlimited Mobile Browser and need to know if I used Opera Mini if I'd be charged extra for going to sites like this one or other forums.

No, you will not be charged if you have the Unlimited Mobile Browser feature, which is $7/month.

Thanks. it's good to know. of course i'm on MTS and i'm assuming the answer is still the same. btw, my mb is still $5

Not sure about MTS, but Bell doesn't control which sites you visit (unlike Telus).

you won't get charged if you have it on MTS

even with sasktel and no unlimited mobile browser i've used runkim a million times and never got charged,...if MTS is anything like sasktel they don't even have pay per use data

MTS just implemented kb billing on data 2 months ago or so, so that even when you send or receive picture messages or d/l stuff from the MTS get stuff site, if you don't have the unltd browser feature you pay per kb.

^^ But I do have MTS's Unlimited Mobile Browser. I'm assuming that I'm good to browse freely but I am expecting to be charged for the d/l of Opera 3.0 & the Gmail Java app. Am I right?

Nope. If you have the unlimited mobile browser, and you're using internet on the phone itself (without tethering it to a PC), then you will not be charged a penny.

Same in the Maritimes. The wealthy folks in Central Canada get dinged the extra $2.28 a month;-)
