The case has the multidapt system on the back which is a interchangeble carrying system for either a clip or a swivel solution.

Looks great! When and where can I order? Cost?

Posted by: rudedog

WoW, very nice.

What is the model number and how fast can I order one

I need it by Friday in the USA

Posted by: Krusell

thanks for the nice feedback.

online you can order it at executivepda.com .
Mr. Rude, as of getting it to you by friday is going to be tough.

Posted by: Bengalboy

That is the case I have been waiting for since November. Something fitted and custom to the P800 which doesn't add bulk, but is quality leather and protects. I love the Krusell for my T68i for those very reasons. Executive PDA has no info for ordering this case, contact person please?

Posted by: rudedog

I just ordered a
KR-82128 1 Krusell Sony Ericsson P800 Classic
from them last week. What is the part number of this new case?

Thanks for making great Cell phone / PDA cases.

Posted by: mikelaaron

but i don't see that case listed on executivepda.com

i'd love to order one...can you provide an exact link?

Posted by: vwvwvw

Very nice case… this looks to be the best yet! Krusell’s multidapt system looks very versatile and well thought out.
I have a question though... is the snap on the top magnetic or mechanical.

Posted by: Krusell

vwvwvw: the snap is not magnetic.

and the link to executivePDA.com is http://www.executivepda.com/HTML/Pr...accessories.htm

Posted by: rudedog

Could this be true. This is the case I ordered last week and it's only 18.00. It was shipped yesterday. So I should have mine by Friday after all.

Will post SSs when I get it.

Posted by: WoeDee

Does the case include a swivel kit or is that to be purchased separately?

Posted by: Krusell

The case comes with the multidapt"female" on the back, some include a clip or a swivel others dont. You can always ask the vendor!

Take care!

Posted by: Bengalboy

I got 2 which will be here tomorrow. The sales person told me that they were almost out of stock after the first day, so you better hurry!

Posted by: rudedog

Well here it is. Told you I wanted it by Friday

Krusell, is a very nice case. The case I have been waiting for, since I purchased my phone.

Well done Krusell.

Model number from Krusell is - 82128

Sorry for all the images but I think you will be impressed

I've got a Krussel iPod case (the one with the flip-over), and am very impressed with that one. And I love the system - I've got the car holder, and the bike holder.

I hate swivel clips (bulk), but love the standard clip - nice and flush.

I've also got an R380 World case that I was less-than-happy with (it worked, but was starting to wear out in less than 3 months). Hopefully this P800 case works better!

What keeps the phone from slipping out on the sides? Are the sides "stiff" or "free" to flap?

Is the jog-dial 5-way usable still? Looks like it'll be tough to pull up or down on it.

GREAT Rudedog!! looking good!!

where did you buy it from?

Posted by: Krusell

Plymton, like most things, they improve with age, and alot has happend since we made the case for the R380. leather quality,QC and overall design.

I appreciate your comment very much, and I do recommend the P800 case if you intend to buy one!

Posted by: rudedog

I had placed an order with Executive PDA.com a while back - You suggested them to me via a PM

I thought I had purchased a standard Krusell case but with the swivel. I was surprised and happy to see that your new case was the same part number I had ordered.

I was just getting ready to contact ExecutivePDA when I received an email from them. Letting me know my order had shipped, this past Monday. Came home for lunch today, and their it was sitting on my front steps.

Bengalboy has stated that they are going fast and I can see why.

Thanks for the nice, well built product and spending some time with the community. This goes a long way ( for me at least) and I will continue purchasing products from your company.

I ordered one (don't even have my P800 yet) and as Mark said their stock is getting low... better hussel and get ur Krussel!

Thanks guys for the info and pix

PS I would have preferred a magnetic snap!
Many thanks for your personal involvement Krussel.

On second glance, I see a magnetic snap wouldn't be that safe... since the phone can fall out, of the case, if the snap comes loose.

Sides are kind of stiff. the phone does not seem to move at all with the flap down. Remember when you do open the flap to access the touch screen, you will be holding the phone with one hand and writing with the other hand.

The jog-dial works fine. It does have a slightly different feel to it now that it's surrounded by the case, but still very much manageable.

The real test comes once the case is broken in. My T68 case was too stiff at first but once the leather broke in was very nice.

Wasn't meant as a slam (though I tend to be a harsh critic). I figured that the phone was 2 years old, the case design was 2 years old.

The other problem was that I couldn't fit the phone in the sync stand with the R380 case - though this is a common - all-too-common - problem with cell phone cases! Looks like the redesign of the cradle, and the phone case will allow it to sync / charge in the case - nice!

(another reason that the R380 case took so much a beating! Had to take it out all the time to charge it / sync it - and you probably KNOW that's at least a 1 / day thing!)

Is the Snap head exposed to the P800 plastics? Felt covered?

I've got a P800 case on order already! I'm hoping it gets here next week! :-)

Yes, it is exposed to the P800's plastic cover. Right where the front and back housings meet on top of the phone.

On a side note. Phone fits into the cradle without any problems. I am currently charging the phone as I write this.

thats ok Dan, all criticism are good ones, thats the way we have developed our cases, through consumer critics like you.
The big problem I think is that too many end-users have been accepting flaws in design, quality of leather and overall fit for a long time now.
Thanks to the internet, information of whats out there is provided and the demand for quality increases.
We have resently entered the North Amercan market and look forward to hussel for our brand Krusell.

thanks everyone for the nice feedback!

Posted by: Krusell

thanks Rudedog for the nice detailed information you provide!

Posted by: Todd-Mobile

You guys were right about the stock being low on the Krusell 82128 case. I placed my order last night when I saw that post and it has been in processing all day long. Now their website says out of stock till 3-12 Too bad their order site is not tied in to their supply numbers.....oh well guess now I have to wait

Posted by: Bengalboy

3VW, better copyright that "Better Hussel if you want a Krusell!" the companies already using it! LOL!

Great photos RudeDog. I will post some of mine tomorrow that are a little larger so everyone can see the detail in the cases. It is what I have been waiting for since I got the P800. Looks awesome RudeDog and I already know what the quality is going to be like. Like I said, the cases were going fasssstttttt!

dagnabit!!!!! Backordered!!!!!

Posted by: RandyTodd

I ordered my Krusell on Thursday from ExecutivePDA and it arrived Friday. It is the nicest case that I have seen for a cell phone. Excellent quality, clean, tight fit that doesn't increae the bulk of the phone, great flap access to the screen and you can hear well through the earpiece opening. And the unique adapter that allows several different clip otions and car holders!!!

This is my first Krussel and I must give it an A++. Normally I would carry the phone in my pocket versus using any of the horrible cases that I have tried. I guess the best part of all this was that the case was availabe for under $20.

Krussel, please keep up the excellent work. And although ExecutivePDA is currently out of stock, these great folks will quickly restock so watch their WEB site and order yours now. I do not believe you will regret ordering one of these cases for your P800.

It doesn't look like this is the case for me.

However, with a few improvements, it *could*.

First, the problem with swivel is that the damn holders always fall of my belt. Also, I can never unlock the swivel quickly enough when I need to take the phone out.

I need a unit that holds the phone side ways (landscape) or it gets in the way of walking and sitting, etc.

The other thing that needs to be addressed here is that metal latch on the top. They should have made a magnetic latch instead!

I'm sticking to my generic Samsonite belt holder. If it only fit better, it would be ideal for me.

Posted by: vwvwvw

Hey with Krusell's involvement here he could take our advise and implement some of these ideas and give us a better product. I really like the magnetic latch instead of the old (hard to push) mechanical snap. I really hope you (Krusell) can take our criticisms constructively and not be offended... and again thanks for your involvement in this forum.

Posted by: Krusell

Again, criticism is good, and we live and improve by hearing from endusers, not that I dont use one myself .
The reason for not having a magnetic stud on there is for secure reasons, having tested both we found that a press stud has a tighter fit, however we will be launching a "premium" line soon, which will be with magnetic closure.

I appreciate your comments, and please share them if you have any more.

To answer oferlaor, we have a solution for a horizontal case.

pls. see pic

krussel,

YES!!! That's EXACTLY what I'm looking for!

HOWEVER, you guys should rethink the openning on the bottom. The P800 tends to pick up dust under the screen. The case should be closed on the bottom (or have a thinner material or clear material) on the bottom to prevent dust, dirt or even water from going in.

One of the primary concerns for me is to protect the P800 from the elements, in addition to protecting it from falling.

Is the case wide enough to be used with the keypad?

Also, how is the back connected to the belt? Is it a plastic clasp (bad!) or some kind of velcro hook attachment?

My current samsonite case (left over from the R380s) has a wide strip of material in the back that ends with a velcro patch. It's a good solution, but it cannot be wound tight enough. So the problem is that when it's hanging off the belt, I don't get enough feedback when the phone is in vibrate mode.

So, the ideal solution would be using a similar velcro type attachment to the belt (a loop), but one that is rigid enough and can be wound tightly enough to pass the vibrations onto my belt.

Currently Im using P800 case exactly the same as Krussel last picture. Actually it produced for Nokia 7650. But it fits very well for P800. It has a magnetic button. It only cost me US$ 5. Cheap huh?? hehhehe....I live in Jakarta, Indonesia
