2125 Contacts from SIM issues, HELP!!

I just got my 2125 a few days ago, and I'm having some problems with my contacts. The clerk at Cingular transferred my contacts off my SIM on my Nokia 6230, and moved them over to my 2125. I see all my contacts on my 2125, but I cannot seem to customize my contacts with ringtones, or pictures. When I'm in list mode, viewing contacts, there is a little SIM chip picture on the right hand side. It looks like I can create a new contact, and fully customize it, but it is not held on the SIM.
Am I making sense? Could someone help me?
