Hi :

I had heard someone inside saying Cingular are going to CUT LOSE all the indirect authorized dealer WHOLE Nationwide

Is this true ?? that will only leave Exclusive , Cooperate and National retialer left in the U.S !!

It sound like a BAD NEWs to all the authorized dealer out there

Any news or resolution coming from Cingular Inside ?? maybe can avoiding this happening

been doing it for awhile. they've been telling agents go exclusive or go away.
do a search in the forum and you will find a lot of information

I'm an exclusive agent store and we're one of the few companies that got their contract renewed with Cingular. I just had an email this morning that a ton of stores in the Detroit area are either switching to T-mobile or going with another carrier because of their contract not getting renewed. The main reason was not selling enough new lines and getting bad mystery shop scores; bad performance overall. More for us I guess.

Yeah, I had one 1/2 from a mile for about a year. They sell other carriers as an authorized dealer then sell Cingular through another dealer. I have done it myself a few times.

To the OP Cingular did that in So Cal a little over a year ago, and then kept cutting the exclusive agents trhat weren't doing at least 40-50 new acts a month. I now have no cin gular dealers in the city I am in and only two Corp stores within a fe miles of here.
