I have the 8525 and when I went to Start>Settings>Lock I used to be able to change the option for "Prompt if device is unused for (min, hours, etc..). I used to have it set at 5 min so it would lock my device and I would enter in a password to get into the phone. I just recently configured the device with my works exchange server so push mail and now when I go to the Lock option, the field is grayed out and set to 1.3 hours and I am unable to change it. Does anyone know how I can change this. I've tried deleting my exchange server from the phone and still no luck? Any help would be appreciated.

I just tried this out. I first went to set it to "Prompt if device is unused..." then I put in a password. Hit OK and then quit out. Then I realized, I don't want a password but just to lock the device. Now I can't have it automatically lock the device because it wants me to enter a password.

Is this supposed to happen? Can you have the device lock automatically without having a password? I'd like to do this so I don't have to keep clicking on lock the device.

So your option is greyed out now?

Well, it's not grey'd out. I think I'm talking about something differently. I now can't lock the device without a password, no matter how many minutes I set it for...
