8125...show 1 new sms, but there isnt 1

I was taking a video with my 8125 today then didnt like the video so I trashed it and closed camera. The phone stayed in landscape mode and wouldnt change to portrait mode. So I soft-rest and everything went back to normal. BUT now phone says 1 unread text message even though there is not one. I have deleted all text in all boxes and soft-rest both ways...still there. Deleted all email in all boxes...still there. But my phone doesnt alert me that I have an unread text, just normal blinking green light. Anybody out there know what to do? I tried searching on here and couldn't find anything.
