Cannot add medianet 200 plan

Hi
I am looking at getting a Blackjack and will not pay $39.99 for data. So I tried to add a Medianet 200 plan to my online order and the system rejected it. It said to check the plans and phones for this option. When I checked the Blackjack is NOT listed. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Order with the PDA plan, then when you get the phone go into your account and change it to Media Max 200.

mediamax is the plan you want, not media net. If you can't add it after droping pda connect, call cingular until you get a rep who will give it to you. Be more educated than the rep when you call and they will do whatever you say.

I was trying to change from my MediaMax 1000 to MediaMax 200 a couple of times, but it always gave me an error message. Good thing, though, as I need the 1000 texts.

Sorry, this is a little bit off the side question, but relates to your issue. I was looking at the PDA connect and it's quite expensive, now if I were to get the 8525 then go online to my account after the rebate etc, can I change my plan to the MediaMax 200 - unlimited data? (Has anyone successfully done this?).

that question is up for much debate. I will say from experience that I had the 8125 with medianet and still got my rebate. I was told as long as you have unlimited data that you are safe to get the rebate, but that's only what I was told. Not sure about everyone else.
