Hey all, I apologize ahead of time if there is an existing thread or a more appropriate place to post this question.... I am looking to get my hands on my some standard ringtones/alarms/alerts etc, preferably Motorola ones. There's only a few on the Q, the rest are long song clips which I cannot stand. If anyone knows where I might be able to download some I'd really appreciate it!

Follow the link in my sig. I have some "standard" phone ringing tones, all mp3, some stock Motorola ones like Continental, Classic, HelloMoto, etc. There are no rap/hip-hop/music tones at all. There are also voicemail and alert tones.

HeavyF: wish I had seen this thread an hour or so ago (I would not have hijacked another thread for a question lol). Anyway, at one time I had an "oldphone" ringtone which I really liked (still have it on my Nokia). But I corrupted it transferring it with MPT and cannot find the original anymore. Know where I might find such a critter? It sounds like an old phone out of the 50's... thanks for the help, you have quite a collection there.

Thanks, that one is very very close. The one I had had a slighty deeper tone and a little more old-time "clang" to the bell; but this will work. Now I just have to get it downloaded out of the quicktime ring folder.... thanks much.

No problem. I am sure that there are other old phone ringers out there, I seem to find them all the time when I am not looking for them, but of course, I can only find that one when I am looking for it.

BTW - it could be the same ringer, but sound different on your Nokia.

You are right on the sound 'different'... in fact when I get it on the 398 or E1 with those speakers, it will likely sound much better than it does on the laptop! Thanks again, that was a great tone resource you linked!

Heavy: just got to thank you for the Old Ringer tone... it is BETTER than the previous one I had. I can play the previous one on the pc WMP, but it won't play on the phone. I have tried a number of reconfigurations using audacity and other media tools to no avail. But, the one you cited works great and sounds even better than the old one. Been looking for over a year, you finally ended that quest. Thanks.

You are both welcome. It took me a while to get most of those, and I remember how much of a pain it was to find them, so I want to share.
