Ok, I have the 8525 and whenever I get a multimedia message I get a link to viewmymessage.com, and I was wondering why I have to go to a website to view my messages....are there some settings for this?
oh yea I only have the smartphone connect plan and pay per use text messages

i really don't have a technical answer but i had the same issue and called cingular and they cleared it up somehow...oh, and have you messed with flashing your ROM or ExtROM...that too can mess up some settings that allow your phone to properly receive MMS messages...

Probably cause you dont have Pay per use multimediaa messaging... why not pay 5 bucks and get 200 messages, which can be text picture video or instant? or $10 for 1000... try it out

yeah you don't need smartphone connect plan just get the MediaMax 200 and you'll be all set...though i used to pay per message and i was still able to receive MMS directly to phone...
