Does anyone else have the problem where the screen backlights will go off even when you pressing buttons on the keypad? I notice it most when I is am surfing and I am scrolling down and repeatedly pressing the down arrow the screen will just go dark.

Count me in on that one too! Don't know why.. But it seems to only happen when in landscape and using the keyboard.

Undocumented feature, you get to rest your eyes for a second.

I am betting that is could be software related. I have phonealarm and PIEPlus on my phone one of those guys could be causing it...

noo i dont think your apps play a role in this, I have been getting this as well, i just figured its a bug that will get squashed later in the future. Not excatly a HUGE issue just weird.

I have not installed any new software yet so basically its a base model 8525 thus far and I have that problem

Thanks. That's good to know that even the base phones have the issue. Yes most likely it will get fixed some time in the future... As long as it does not get worse I can live with it. Pretty minor...

Happens here too. I've looked at every setting and the backlight timeout apparently is not what causes it.

Same issue on mine. Only in landscape mode as well.
