Sync Dash with Outlook wirelessly

Has anyone been able to sync Dash with Outlook using Wi-fi? I am able to sync fine using USB.

I remember doing it regularly with my PocketPC. I cannot, however, see any option in the ActiveSync 4.2 that allows me to do that with Dash.

Any pointers?

you can't sync using wi-fi. try bluetooth instead

there was an old version of activesync that had the wifi option (3.7) i believe but since then Microsoft took that option away due to security concerns.

Thanks Shackk. I figured that out looking at some other boards. You are right. They removed the feature sometime after 3.7. Pity though. It was a wonderful way to sync. I can understand the security concerns, but they could have thought about adding an authorization mechanism, instead of totally removing it. I hope it comes back.

Well don't hold your breath waiting, but yes I liked having that option as well.

Better yet, you could sign up for a hosted Exchange account with someone like Mail2Web and sync over EDGE. Then you would always be syncing and never have to plug in. I assume you are with Tmobile, so the good news is that at least unlimited data plans are cheap.
