power issues?

anyone else have problems with their SK2 powering off?
i notice if i give mine a hard enough shock, sometimes just lightly dropping it on the counter it will turn off and loose all information (i havent gotten any OTAs on it because i can't get the sidekick data plan yet... i know that's why i loose info) and i then need a power cord to get it to power up again... anyone else have similar issues?
if so, does anyone know how to fix it?
