Help me remap Dash t-zones to task manager?

Hi all!

I'm a forum n00b, so any help you all can give me is appreciated.

I am trying to remap my t-zones key to the task manager in my Dash. I have done what I can from the instructions I found here - downloaded a text editor and making changes in the short_IE.lnk file.

I have found the short_IE.lnk file, but I can't find the task manager file to copy from and paste into the short_IE.lnk file. Does anyone know the name of this file in the \Windows folder on the Dash?

Alternately, I could do it manually, I know what to input - someone wrote in another thread to change it to 19#\Windows\IA_Task_Manager.exe?:TaskManagerApp, but I cannot find a backslash on the Dash keyboard. Does anyone know how to input a backslash?

Answers to either of those would solve my problem - so thanks so much in advance!

The name is listed in your 2nd question below -- IA_Task_Manager.exe

You can input a backslash (\) into a text field using the Symbol pad (to open the Symbol pad, press the SYM key)

Hope that helps...

The file is write protected. Right click the file and select properties and unclick the write protected box. Click OK. Then try saving the file.

thanks a lot,
