For the server I enter... http://webmail.ur.rochester.edu for authentication I have to use my AD-domain and username... ur\username enter your password (make sure to click save password or it will prompt everytime when it syncs..) I have setup about 50 of these devices and I usually install Activesync 4.2 and enter the info at this point..it will then configure the device and do it's first sync.. Once you do this you never have to attach it to the PC again. Keep in mind that when your domain password changes the WM5 device will fail and prompt you for the new password. make sure you have your "schedule" on the WM5 device setup to send and recieve immediately. The default install will only allow your INBOX mail to sync for up to 2 weeks worth of mail.. I have seen problems with a few of the devices when email on the WM5 device got too large and for some reason it would not sync.. If you want to include more folders you may have setup under your inbox on the exchange server you have to make these changes on the activesync installation on the PC. Good luck... |

save the email to because you can reuse and it will resync your email with a new device that uses goodlink. |
