700p or 700wx Treo and why?

I can’t make up my mind.

Sprint Treo 700p (Palm) or 700wx (Billy g)
Which should I buy? And why?

I have never owned a Plam device but have owned windows CE devices like the Phillips Nino and Velo, both had hardware and software issues.

Your opinions and recommendations please!

As a general rule, Windows Mobile is the more powerful OS, but Palm is the more convenient OS. So for example, Windows Mobile can multitask better, and is better for things like streaming video. But Palm is much faster and easier to perform regular tasks. Many tasks that take a half dozen button clicks on a Windows Mobile device will take 1 or 2 clicks on a Palm OS device.

So if you consider yourself a power user, then you may require Windows. If you just use your phone for personal use, then Palm would probably be better.

I use both phones daily, and it boils down to the internet and text messaging.

Treo 700P's web browser for a lack of a better word is garbage when compared to IE on the Treo 700W.

text messaging on the 700P is a little nice since it has threaded conversations, the 700w uses pocket outlook for SMS and they are seperated by sent/received msgs, kind quirky but not that big of a deal.

if you ask me, Take the windows over the palm. My two cents
