pocketnesterplus loading ROM problem (dash)

Hey you guys,
I installed pocketnesterplus on my dash and followed all the instructions here.
It's for the Q, but it should work all the same right? The only problem is that I can't seem to associate .NES files. I check the box, and when i come back, it's unchecked. The link says it shouldn't be a problem, but when I load any ROM, it doesn't work. It brings me to the pocketnester screen, and just closes itself.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i have the blackjack and have the same problem it wont load a rom
