I sold my krzr k1m. anyone know how to reset it? to normal settings that are there when u get it from vzw? im stumped. they say no reset at vzw. what do i do

You'll probably want to clear it out to delete any phonebook entries, pictures, etc. Here are the steps to completely clear out the phone:

Press [OK]
Arrow up or down to “Settings”
Press [Select]
Arrow up or down to “Initial Setup”
Press [Select]
Arrow up or down to “Master Clear”
Press [Select]
Enter Security Code (Default: 000000)
Press [OK]
Phone will display “Clear All Phone Settings?”
Press [YES]

theres no master reset on this phone, i called vzw, they sent me to moto, called them, and nothing. what a good up. its out of my hands now. i went back to LG thank god

They have it on US Cellular's version; I just looked at one to be sure. That functionality has been on every Motorola for the past five years. I don't understand why they would write that out. I think you was lied to.

I am having a similar problem with a Verizon K1m Krzr. I go to settings and there is no initial setup menu. Any help?

i contacted vzw and they said no reset and to contact moto, so i contacted moto they sent me to special krzr support line, dude on there said no reset, u have to take everything out manually. its a heck of a glitch on their side huh. what crap. so yea NOTHING U CAN DO , so i sold the phone and went back to LG . i was selling it anyhow i just wanted to clear it, so all i had left was my numb when it pops up when u start it up so i changed it to NAM2. and sent it out that way . but yea it sucks. impressive for moto . what crapola

The Verizon UI on the KRZR blocks out the Initial Setup menu, and thus Master Reset and Master Clear. It's more Verizon's fault than Moto's.

where would that be located at, would u have to enable that mode where u press clear left key? j/w
