Blackjack A2DP distortion

This is probably an MS BT stack issue as I've seen some write ups on it in other forums (with PPCs) but I just wanted to verify whether anyone has encountered distortion and low quality audio output with Blackjack A2DP.

This is what I've tried so far with my Itech Clip S34:

8125(molski 2.3 A2DP) w/S35 = crap sound and distortion
3125 w/S35 = distortion
Blackjack i607 w/S35 = distortion
LG CU500 w/S35 = great sound

Any insights?

I'm planning to throw all 4 phones into some boiling water and create a stew that will actually result in the phone that I really want (ie. A2DP digital quality sound, bluetooth voice dialing, small keyboard, 3G, a decently pocketable form factor and all packaged in a quality operating system). Is this too much to ask for? Does such a beast exist?

My feeling is that the current set of processors in the WM5 smartphones just aren't fast enough to produce high quality sound AND manage all the other crap that goes on in the background of a smartphone. Just getting a basic reminder or even pressing a key slows them down to a crawl if you are listening on BT A2DP.

For now, it's a cool feature that could be used if need be. But I don't think it'll be til the next generation of processors that it'll work well.

All of which I'm fine with EXCEPT that on the BJ and Qtek 8500 (and it's siblings) there is no other option for listening to music. They both handle music well, they just don't handle it playing thru A2DP.

So, why, why why has no one come up with an adapter that will adapt a 3.5mm jack to the proprietary mini-USB on those devices? The 8500 came with a set of headphones that plugged into it. I was close to cutting the wire and connecting my Shures to the leads.

I keep hearing adapters may be avail soon. but when? That I can use my Subcription music service on the phones rocks. That I can't listen them without crippling my phone sucks.

it's not the processor, even non smartphones can handle it
it's the bt stack

I just ordered these wired headphones for my blackjack:

I deceided to get wired headphones after I got such crap sound from a bluetooth receiver I bought for the Blackjack. I just wish there was a way charge the phone and listen to wired headphones.

Buyer Beware!
I ordered the same (looking) adapter and it was NOT stereo- mono only...

I ordered this adapter from daydeal after reading this thread:
http://howardforums.com/showthread....+adapter+stereo
I'm not 100% sure I got the right adapter, but I'm really hoping it's true stereo.

I also found this one on Ebay:

Can anyone confirm if it will work with the BJ? Luckily my 03 land rover has a tape player hidden behind the navigation screen and I was previously able to use my 8125 for MP3s. Hoping I can do it with this adapater too...

I got the adapter from Daydeal on Friday. Unfortunatly it did not work at all. I got no sound of the headphone adapter. I tried a couple different headphones, but all I could hear was a little pop every time music would start or stop. I tried out the adapter on a friend's samsung that used the same type of plug, and it did not work either, so I'm guessing I got a busted adapter. This sucks, cause I'm really trying to get streaming radio(not XM, actual good music like WefunkRadio) working on my car stereo, and the bluetooth sound quality just isn't cutting it.
