Was all excited to receive my Copper 680 today, only to find out that the CD which came with it is defective. I called Palm, and they said I could either exchange the device or they could send a new CD, which could take 2 weeks--neither are very attractive.

I don't know why they can't put the software on their site for download when a new device comes out (it was the same with the 650 software not being available at first...ugh).

Anyone know if there is anywhere to download the latest version for the 680 or anyone interested an ISO anywhere for me.

Just download the latest Palm Desktop on their website.

Unfortunately the newest version which provides support for the 680 isn't available for download yet.

Thanks! Actually, after trying the CD on 4 different computers, I was finally able to read it, so I'm all set.
