Dash Bricked Need Help!!!

I tried using a the google mail java app on my tmobile dash. It froze up on me, and when i turned it back on it just stays at the "tmobile" splash screen. I have tried using the soft key and power button reset but it doesnt work. Is there any other way to reset it or is it totally bricked? I bought it new off craiglslist so tmobile wont replace it for me cause I'm using it unlocked on cingular.

Have you taken the battery out?

Yes, Ive tried taking the battery out and in, What's weird is that it wond power down unless take the battery out. It powers on, shows the tmobile splash screen, then freezes.

I'm using a Dash phone on a Cingular account as well, blackbelt013, so I feel for you...hope evrything works out!

I'm still trying to make the Dash as functional as my older Cingular phone, but all I've done are the GPRS and Proxy settings, and don't even have MediaNet yet. Among other things. Where do I get Outlook and other MS progs, if that's even doable?

On the bright side, I was able to copy WordPad from my mpx220 and load it onto the Dash.

Ok,

I was able to get the hard reset prompt, but when i pushed the send button, it just returned to the tmobile splash screen. Is there something im forgetting to do? How long does it take to hard reset?
