Xpress mail calendar reminder has wrong time

I use xpress mail for work email and the calendar reminder gives me the reminder at the right time (15 min before meeting) but it says the wrong time. Example... if I have a meeting at 1 PM the time and appointment are correct on the calendar and at 12:45 the reminder pops up, but it says the apointment is at 5PM or some other weird time.

Any thoughts?

make sure you have the right time zone set on your phone. I noticed last night that Cing started sending out GMT +8 in my area which whacked out all of the times on my xpressmail calendar.

I have checked that and i had to place on my time zone and turn off auto update. I did all this before i posted the first post. Thus, tried that and still have the problem

I literally had the same problem today. The time on my phone was correct, but my calendar thought the time was 8 hours later. After screwing with the phone, I found that the time zone was set at China - I am in California.

I changed the time zone but no good. I rebooted the phone by removing the battery and then again found I was in China.

I called Cingular and they ended up having me pull my battery and simcard, then they resent the secret Cingular code stuff, I reassembled my phone and fixed.

I have no idea what caused this - maybe the recent solar flair. But very strange. All is good again now.

Thanks for the info. I will have to give that a try. One quick question for you though. Was all of the Calendar time wrong or just the reminder.

It is wierd. Sometimes the reminder time is correct and other times it is not.
