Hi, I just got the Cingular Pearl 2 days ago and when installe ramble and tried to sign on i got this message: Invalid Connection String: Oen tunnel- failure. How do I fix this? Also do you need to buy a mini sd card to get music onto the Cingular Pearl, if not how do you do it?

You need micro SD not miniSD

You need the APN settings:

options -> advanced -> TCP

Cingular APN: wap.cingular.com
Username for APN: wap.cingulargprs.com
Password for APN: cingular1

T-mobile APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username for APN: <blank>
Password for APN: <blank>

I did that and now it says: Invalid Connection String: Malformed Address. Returning null connection? What does this mean? Oh, and I am going to the Cingular store the get a microSD card sorry, i wasn't thinking, really did know the name, just pulled u micro lol.

correction

Cingular APN : wap.cingular
Username for APN : wap@cingulargprs.com
password : CINGULAR1 (all capitals)
