Need Help w/Properties related to Storage Card

I have a 2GB miniSD by Corsair that worked perfectly until I decided to format it via my Notebook (Win XP, SP2) with a card reader/writer.
Corsair (Great Company) stated that they will replace the card for free but I would prefer to fix this at home if possible.

Previously I have added and deleted files, defragged the card, with no problem.
Now it states that I have just half of the usable memory...

...other than being human, WHAT DID I DO WRONG?!

Secondly, can you help me fix this, please?

Additionally, while using File Manager on the phone (SDA) I have navigated to the storage card and selected properties.
I would like to know what all of the attributes starting with System and below mean in reference to an installed card and Win Mobile 5.0, please.

Thank you for any help and best regards, Phonuzer

After “digging” around the net I came across this page http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/foru...cfm/634358.html and at the bottom found this valuable link http://www.ritekusa.com/ebpage.asp?...ecure%20Digital.

I ran Ritek's Fix program from it’s folder on my Notebook (Win XP) using an attached reader/writer and it worked perfectly – at least all indications point to this.

A big thank you to Peter Nguyen for finding and posting this!

Well, I spoke too soon!

After running the program, Win XP recognizes the card's capacity as 2GB but when I try to add files to the card and amount became greater than 1GB I get an error code stating “Cannot copy (file name): the parameter is incorrect”.

So it has yet to work for me – I’m playing with it and will reply if I come up with a solution.
