Blackjack randomly stopped charging from USB ?!?!

So my blackjack was plugged into the USB port for 6 hours today and from an almost dead battery it only charged up about 25% !?!?! It charged more on the 10 min drive home with my car charger.
I've heard about the whole won't charge if it's not in Activesync mode but it was in Activesync mode all day. In addition I've had it pluged into the USB all last week and it charged fine.
I restarted both the PC AND the phone.... to no effect...
Anyone else having USB charging issues??? I saw the thread about the USB Modem mode not charging issue but my phone is on Activesync.....
