Pearl wont accept pix msg from verizon

has anyone had this problem? I sent a pix message to my friends pearl and it received the msg but no photo was in the txt.

I'm not totally sure about the pearl, but my 7100 and 8700 would not receive mms either. I think its just a blackberry thing.
The only way i know to get around this is to send the picture msg to his email.
