Depends on the rate of your dollar... when I was in London last it cost me anywhere from $2.25 - $2.50 CDN to buy one pound. My buddy from Texas also found it expensive as his USD at that time wasn't doin so well on the exchange. I would do a comparison on the net tho.... find what you want in USD then find it in a shop inthe uk do the exchange at that time and it should give you an idea of if you're better off buying here or there. There are some shops I found in the Uk that have really great deals on accessories tho. Pm with where you are heading actually and if I know of a store in that area I can send you the address or give you an idea of where it's located

At the monent USA - UK £ pound around $1.60 with a credit card. If you exchange for cash then $1.60 plus commissions can be $1.80 per £ British Pound.

www.thelink.co.uk (Link & Dixons Stores).

www.phones4u.co.uk (BT me thinks)

www.carphonewarehouse.com (As in the address).

Then there are zillions of small stores & chains. You can do search on google Mobile phones UK or Cellphones UK or Nokia Siemens sony Ericsson Uk etc.
Reg. Frank R. Have a great trip. I just came back.
