Motorola Razr V3T Ringtone Problems

I recently purchased the Razr v3T (Rogers Canada) and went about putting some MP3 ring tones on it that I had used previously on my Motorola V635i
THE PROBLEM is I can see these ring tones but when I choose them they DO NOT work (Rings like a regular phone ring even though the MP3 has been selected). I have never run in to this with any of my previous Motorola phones(v300 V635 etc)
Does anyone know what type of file the ring tones are on a Razr v3T???
I am assuming that they are not in a MP3 format as I could not get mine to work.

rogers started locking their phones so that you can only use their "realtones" mp3 tones as ringtones, so you'll have to get your phone unlocked to let you use your mp3s as ringtones.

Did you delete the two .db files and restarted the phone?

I am unsure what you are referring too. I am fairly new to moddding. Could you provide a little more information about your post. What happens when you delete the .db files do you lose all the existing ringtones??and where are they located. I was trying to put the files on using MPT
