I am using bitpim 0.9.09 and bluetooth to upload wallpaper images. My phone shows 13 images. but only 5 upload. My contacts upload and download just fine.

How can your phone show 13 images if only 5 are uploading? I'm not sure what you're getting at, please rephrase your question and provide us with a bit more detail. What steps are you performing to upload the images?

This is fairly simple... From the phones main menu I go to Settings & Tools-->Display Settings-->Wallpaper-->Main Wallpaper-->My PIX
and the wallpaper images are displayed. and my phone even shows the wallpaper count at the top of the display 1/13 (meaning that the
cursor is on the first of thirteen items. The wallpapers that are uploaded to my computer by bitpim are only the first 5. I upload the images using
bitpim's Get Phone Data-->Wallpaper with the source box checked. I am connected from my computer to my phone using bluetooth. My PC is running
windows xp sp2 and all latest updates. My bluetooth connection works with my PDA and Garmin GPS as well. When I do the upload the activity
indicator at the lower left on bitpim shows the files being uploaded, but as I said only 5 of the available 13 come over. I'm not sure what more I can
tell you.

The default wallpapers are embedded in the EEPROM of the phone and can't be read by bitpim, nor can they be deleted. There are 8 of them and I suspect these are the ones that aren't "uploading" to your computer. The term is downloading in this case and there isn't any way to download the 8 default images.

Thanks, that was what I suspected, but just wasn't sure.

bfoos, got it right
BTW uploading = sending away from your PC to somplace else
downloading is receiving into your PC from someplace else

yeah terms = wrong

Some of you need to get a real life. Notice I said Get Phone Data. This was not about my terminology. Next time try to concentrate on the real issue.

yes but you also said 'upload', we simply let you know that that getting data is download
NObody ragged on you.. if you use confusing statements when you have a simple situation, how are you going to correctly describe a difficult problem if it occurs
you are not the only one
