Hi I just bought a brand new Bell Mobility PPC 6700, but I want to use the phone for Telus. Is there anyway to un-lock it? if there is, how?

i know it is possible to unlock the phone because i just unlock mines yesterday. But the guy wouldnt tell me wat software he used.

Hey, I have MTS Mobility here, and its closely related to Bell Mobility.

Once I got over the hype of the iphone and read the reviews, I decided not to bother. Now I am interested in this UTStarcom PPC 6700. It looks very sleek, and like REALLY prefer the slide out keypad, with larger buttons, over those small buttons on Palm/BlackBerry.

I have a similar question, I am looking to sign up with a plan on MTS Mobility with this phone, and probably go with the 2 or 3 year contract.

I will be moving to Ontario (Ottawa), in the next 3 or 4 years (University). Since both Bell and MTS are very similar and both are CDMA, can this phone be switched on to the BELL Mobility network?
