People Please Help!!!

Yesterday my motorola V3X had a beep indicating that the battery was low.
A few mintues later i got an incoming call when i went to answer it there was no one there and the phone screen froze and the incoming call box was still there so i closed the phone and opend it again and the phone was off so i thought the battery was dead i went to the charger and plugged it in and the blue light that normally flashs when charging didnt flash. so i took it to the computer and pluged the USB in the charge it the Blue light came on but never flashed for a while then the light went off and windows said the device can not be reconized. so i took it back to the power and plugged it in for about 1 hour then i unplugged it and held the power button the blue keypad lights came on for about 2 seconds and then nothing. I then tryed the # * and On button but it just said cannot program because battery is low.

PLEASE HELP ASAP

Sounds like the phone froze up. Try popping out the battery for a couple of seconds, then putting it back in and powering it up. If that doesn't help, it could be a lot of things. You'll probably want to call your service provider and see what options they give you to get it repaired/ replaced.

You need to get a phone somewhere to charge your phones battery...
Then go to Motorola's website, get the software update software for your phone...
Install on PC, put the FULLY CHARGED battery in your phone, and it must be FULL!
Connect by usb, follow prompts to install drivers, let the software do the update,
This will take a while. You must be connected to the net, pref broadband as it will download about 10MB while checking for updates. Good Luck.

This will delete all your contacts/files etc. but if you have *#power the thing then they are most likely gone already.

Sorry, newb, but there are some people out there that don't know that removing the battery helps. You never mentioned that you removed your battery. Again, your problem can be caused by a lot of things, so unless you're trained by Motorola to diagnose and repair phones, you're proabably not going to be able to fix the problem yourself.

Cant plug it into the computer windows doesnt reconsise the device
and says its manufactored

Windows will recognise it as neptune somethingorOther once the Battery is charged... the usb shuts itself off sorta, once the battery is flat past a certain point...
You could maybe try charging with a DC power supply about 4v should do it just for 15min or so though, and I dont know the pins to connect to so you will have to measure with a multi meter to get + _ 3v and connect to them.... last resort if the shop cant charge it for you. Oh and dont leave the battery in after it is charged and you are not busy trying to update... it will go flat quick in boot mode.

best to give it back to them and let them do it if you can.
